Smile! The world is a beautiful place (^_^)

Some grow in grass. Some grow in moss. Some just pop out from the side of an old tree trunk.

  2. Thanks Wendy! I’ve never liked mushrooms, until I started photographing them. Now I can’t get enough and I’m so happy there are lots of them now! (I still refuse to eat them though) πŸ™‚

  3. Oh, these are so nice. Very educational to see the various speices of mushrooms. Even though you do not care to eat them – it does not matter. Mushrooms are not everyone’s taste. Great photography.

Thanks a lot, Yvonne! I tried to find the names of these mushrooms but couldn’t find them, but I think they’re some kind of Armillaria.

Come on anything sauteed in butter and garlic can’t be bad……unless you think about what you are eating!

Sorry, can’t stop thinking about it.. Train of thoughts: Mushroom –> Fungus –> Bacteria –> Disease! No amount of butter and garlic (which I love) can help me..

O.K. fair enough but we must get your mind to a happy place and away from disease: Now think about Chocolate or if you like butter White Chocolate. Better now? Good.

  7. I love how you’ve captured the color of the tree trunks and the mushrooms. I can just picture the wee faeries hiding under the mushroom tops.
