More signs of spring- Yesterday afternoon I spotted some Double Snowdrops!  But later in the evening it started snowing again and hasn’t stopped yet… I hope the small flowers will survive..

  1. Our snowdrops and daffodils survived last weekend’s snow. I hope these will, too.

  3. Pretty, pretty! Calee, I only have one kind of snowdrop in my garden; however, I read a garden magazine article that featured a bunch of different looking snowdrops. Thank you for the closeup of these delightful flowers.

    • Thanks sweet Wendy! There are indeed many different kinds of snowdrops. The most common one is the “Galanthus Nivalis” (seen in my previous post), in a few weeks they’ll be everywhere (I hope!) 🙂

    • I had heard about them, but never actually seen before! There are many different varieties of snowdrops, but the single one is far more common.

    • They do! A pity I didn’t take any shot showing what they look like inside, the double snowdrop is very beautiful.. We got hit by a cold spell and the small flowers didn’t make it.
