Smile! The world is a beautiful place (^_^)

It’s wet and quite cold here in Amsterdam.. Here are some of the last mushrooms of this season, helicopter view 🙂 I especially like the turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) from this angle.

(Versicolor means ‘several colors’, which reliably describes this fungus that displays different colors.)

  1. Beautiful! It’s amazing how interesting a forest floor can be. It takes someone to get down there and look for us so…thanks😊 looks like your winter has arrived.

    • Thanks so much, Lynn! It’s very wet here now, I’m actually wishing for ice and snow instead. 🙂

      • It’s been really wet here, too. I think I saw a nice batch of Oyster mushrooms on a tree yesterday. The rain has its benefits!

  4. Hi, Camilla.
Great colours in these! And nice to know that the weather has not diminished your willingness to get out capture some lovely images!
Not so wet here – but very cold mornings and some heavy frosts.
Stay dry – and warm. 🙂

    • Hi John, thanks so much! 🙂 Both my camera and lens are weather-sealed so no problem if it rains.. (and I don’t mind too much either!) Looking forward to frost and snow! Hopefully I’ll have the new lens then too. Take care! And greetings to Daphne.
